Ms. Traci Costilow
Media Specialist
Ms. Costilow joined Burnette in 2013 as the Media Specialist. Prior to that, she was a classroom teacher for sixteen years, teaching first, third, fourth, and fifth grades.
Ms. Costilow has always loved reading and libraries. Her fondest memories are spending Saturday afternoons at the library in her hometown, curled up in a chair reading. Being a librarian, surrounded by books all day, is a dream come true!
Ms. C, as the students know her, hails from Cleveland, Ohio. She moved to Georgia in 2001. She is passionate about Cleveland sports and loves March Madness basketball.
Mrs. Costilow is proud that the Burnette Media Center earned the distinction of being named the 2019 Judy Serritella Exceptional Library Media Program (one of only four media centers in the state to be recognized), and honored to have been named the 2020 Gwinnett County Media Specialist of the Year.

Mrs. Lee Nichols
Media Clerk
Ms. Nichols joined the BES Media Center in the fall of 2016. Prior to joining Burnette, Ms. Nichols worked at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta as the Camp Isidore Alterman Assistant Director, preschool teacher, and project coordinator.
Ms. Nichols grew up in Greenville, North Carolina, the home of the Pirates. She moved to Georgia in 2005. She loves sports and roots for the North Carolina Tarheels.
Ms. Nichols was honored as the 2018-2019 Gwinnett County Media Clerk of the Year!
